Tony fidgeted, pulling at the collar of his suit. Next to him, Steve smirked, reaching out to pull Tony's hand away from the collar, turning towards him to straighten up his tie...again. Tony took a few slow, deep breaths. He was not freaking out, no. Not at all.
At that moment, Thor strode into the room wearing his Asgardian armor, helmet included, all polished and ready for the occasion. He smiled softly at Tony and turned directly to Steve.

(This story takes place after Loki's incarceration but before the events of the convergence.)
Narration
It was a warm and sunny morning in Asgard. The last bits of snow were melting off of the trees and some of the bulbs of the legendary beautiful flowers were peeking through the soil in the gardens of the palace. Birds were singing and the air was sweet. All would appear normal if not extraordinarily well off.
None of this however, was even sensed by the dungeons below the palace. It was dark, aside from the highly illuminated prisoner chambers that lined either side of the pit of Hel under royalty's feet.

Thor rushed down the long corridor, peering into the branching halls for any sign of what he searched for. His mind still swirling that he had turned his back for such a small time and the Avengers had given his dearest Brother to S.H.I.E.L.D. He breathed heavy, wide eyes as more identical halls swished past him.
